Girls and Boys - Day
On Thursday the 28.03.2019 we had the pleasure to welcome 4 girls and one boy to the Jäkel family for the Girls' and Boys' Day.
The interns got their very first taste of what working life is like today. They visited the design, toolmaking, work preparation, quality assurance, maintenance and scheduling departments.
They particularly enjoyed the quality assurance and toolmaking departments. Mr. Geisen allowed the interns to inspect a knife for unevenness and quality with the help of a measuring arm. Mr. Fisseler and Mr. Kilian gave them the opportunity to produce their own metal signs by milling, drilling and grinding.
The purchasing department also offered some brief insights into their activities at short notice.
We hope the girls and boys had an interesting and enjoyable day and that they will have some fond memories of this special day. Maybe we will see each other again for another internship or even an apprenticeship? We hope to see you again! 😊
