Boys Day at the company Jäkel April 27, 2017
Once again this year, the Jäkel machine knife factory welcomed two students from the Schlossbergschule Diemelstadt who were interested in gaining some insights for their future professional life. Almost all departments and their function were presented. This started with the creation of the models and the writing of the milling programs in the design department, followed by a tour of the various manufacturing stations in the production department and ended with the final inspection in the quality control department. They also had the opportunity to take an up-close look at the Research & Development department, where, among other things, the micrographs are inspected with the aid of state-of-the-art microscopes.
